How do i help relieve an infant ear infection when medicine does not work? - infant ear infections more condition_symptoms

I have a baby of 2 months, and took a doctor for an ear infection. It was our family doctor and he prescribed Amoxicillin us to help the pain, but not really helped. My husband and I are at the end of the rope can someone help me?
